Design Automation Engineer

Job Overview:
Work with RFFE Module Designers and Product Engineers to develop automation features and Design Rule Check Deck. Write/Debug/Review/Test Design Rule Check Deck based on substrate and assembly documentation. Assist Module Designers with understanding the automation features usage and installation. Enable automation features in Cadence SiP Tool by writing Skill scripts for the features. Maintain Code update and release schedule. Ensure smooth transition of updates and fixes. Improve CAD infrastructure of RFFE BU.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Experience working in Linux and Unix environment Software development and debug experience.
  • Experience in developing automated systems and understanding of the need for automation in industry.
  • Expertise in coding using at least two mainstream programming languages.
  • Familiarity with chip-package co-design flows, and semiconductor design and process.
  • Experience with Cadence and ADS for simulations and layouts, and Cadence SiP tool for package layout.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Cadence SKILL coding is a plus. Experience in RF/mechanical simulation tools is a plus.
