Sensor Test Technician 

Proficiency in electronics circuit troubleshooting and repair.
Knowledge of hand tools and lab equipment such as a digital oscilloscope and multi-meter.
Familiarity with printed circuit board layout and design. Both through hole and surface mount.
Must be capable of working with small components and parts, occasionally requiring assembly under a low power microscope. Must be capable of performing reliable work involving repetitive, intricate and tedious operations.
Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently and plan own work schedule that meet the teams needs.
Proficiency with basic computer skills, including MS Windows, Word, and Excel.
A working knowledge of scripting tools such as PowerShell is desired but not required.
A working knowledge of an electrical schematic capture or circuit board layout software is also desired but not required.
Must possess good people skills and be able to work closely with other people at all levels of experience and proficiency.
Minimum 5 years of experience as an electrical/electronic/mechanical technician in a similar work environment

Responsibilities:
Keep lab work area clean and well-organized. Be proficient in the operation of basic electrical/electronic laboratory equipment and test procedures. Assist in the fabrication, assembly and testing of engineering prototypes or full production products, test fixtures and equipment. Inspect, configure and test ultrasound sensors in a lab environment under the direction of supervising engineers. Provide daily status reports for tasks assigned. Keep careful notes on all tests and procedures. To become proficient in the basic skills, terms and procedures related to fingerprints and fingerprint scanning devices; and the tools, procedures and practices used to manufacture and test fingerprint scanning equipment.

Minimum of Associates degree in electrical/electronic technology or equivalent military or technical school training.
