Novus is seeking a Layout design engineer to prepare die level and package level manufacturing documentation for RFFE. The die level work is for all types of NT and HB 90 documents, for 5 different device technologies GaAs Cup and WB, Si CMOS, Switch, and LNAs. This comprises reading device data in different device layout tools including cadence and exporting in to appropriate formats as inputs for formalizing mechanical drawings which are used for developing test probes, or tape and reel tooling. The job also entails standardizing and streamlining process workflows for the different device processes and documenting 1 flow, after which it can be automated including uploading documents to Agile. Must be able to work with a cross functional group of IC designers, SIP layout engineers, mechanical engineers, program analysts and configuration management teams, and collate this information in to meaningful, consistent formats that can be automated.


Proficient in design layout tools, especially CAD, PRO-E, Agile interfacing, and coding in Skill for automation. Must understand interoperability of design and layout tools.


Proficiency in CAD tools, with 5+ years of experience. Specific experience of Cadence Virtuoso, Cadence RF SIP, ACAD, PRO-E and Automation of design files in to manufacturing documents is preferred.


Bachelors or Masters in Engineering, preferably Mechanical or Electronics engineering preferred.
