CPU Verification/Testcode Development Engineer

This is an exciting team to join!  You will work with the custom CPU design and verification team to write and debug tests to verify the functional design. Primary responsibilities are to write and debug testcases in Perl and ARM assembly language per a testplan. Other responsibilities may include writing UVM-based tests per a testplan, writing and analyzing coverage in SystemVerilog, and writing UVM or ARM assembly language tests to close coverage holes.

1-3 years of experience in the following:
- Design and/or verification experience on a CPU (especially RISC).
- Knowledge of CPU architecture and use of assembly language (especially RISC).
- Ability to debug Verilog RTL in a System Verilog/UVM environment
- Prior use of industry standard simulators and waveform debuggers
- Perl, competent use of Unix/Linux command line and scripting
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills

All experience levels considered. Above experience can come from obtaining MS degree.

Prior experience with ARM V8 architecture and assembly language strongly preferred. Other languages, architectures, and related verification experiences are a plus.

Required: Bachelor's, Computer Engineering and/or Electrical Engineering
Preferred: Master's, Computer Engineering and/or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
