Graphics Power Measurement and Analysis Engineer

One of the largest fabless design companys in the world provides hardware, software and related services to nearly every mobile device maker and operator in the global wireless marketplace. The Graphics System Team is responsible for the development of end to end and system on chip (SOC) architectural solutions for next generation of graphics processing units (GPUs) and compute devices.

Position Overview:
Measure performance, power and thermal KPIs for Graphics-centric use cases Correlate performance, power and thermal KPIs with pre-Si models Summarize graphics workload characteristics from perf, power and thermal point of view Develop tools to automate on-device measurements and correlation of performance, power and thermal KPIs against pre-Si models
 
Minimum Qualifications:
1.Understanding of microprocessor/SOC architecture and common SoC hardware blocks (Display, Graphics, CPUs, BUS, etc.) 2.Concept and understanding of system dataflow ( graphics knowledge is plus )
3.1-3 years of hands-on lab experience with power measurement, thermal measurement, profiling etc.
4.Knowledge of python scripting
5.Minimum of Bachelor degree required
 
Preferred Qualifications:
1.Masters degree preferred
2.Concept of DCVS
3.Scripting on VBA, Spreadsheet models
4.Work with Graphics driver and applications
 
Education:
Required: Bachelor's, Computer Engineering and/or Computer Networks & Systems and/or Computer Science and/or Control Theory & Control Eng and/or Electrical Engineering and/or Electronics & Satellites Eng and/or Information Technology
Preferred: Master's or equivalent experience
